The terms "compatible and branded compatible" are used on this site to describe an item that has been newly manufactured, usually by a third party, but to the specification of the original equipment manufacturer. The term "remanufactured"  refers to an item that have been used once and then refurbished and refilled. On some occasions this term may also describe a very high quality compatible product. Wherever possible we supply premium products where the drum has been replaced rather than simply "refurbished". Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee this in every case. The item names and descriptions are as accurate and fair as possible and we will not pass off a product as genuine when it we know it not to be. We can't, however be held responsible for mistakes in the information provided to us by suppliers. The term "Genuine" refers to products that are manufactured by the original equipment manufacturer and will always be new unless otherwise stated.

Occasionally we may have to substitute one suppliers' product for another if stock is not available for the product ordered. We purchase from multiple suppliers in order to ensure continuity of supply, low prices and a broad range of stock. The images are either a generic image or the actual item and may not accurately represent the actual product. Images may show the OEM name but this does not signify we are supplying an OEM product.

We aim to despatch all goods the same day but wherever possible within 24 hours of receipt of order. Most orders will be despatched on the same day if received before 4pm. The goods can take 1 - 3 days to arrive although the latter is rare. When purchasing through this site you will be informed by email of receipt of order and payment and also despatch of goods.

Delivery - we use various Couriers dependent upon the size, weight and location. Products are shipped on a next day delivery sevice. Prices include VAT. Items sent by Courier will normally arrive the next day but may take up to 3 days and failed delivery attempts will cause delays. Delivery is charged at £5.94. 

We accept all major credit and debit cards and PayPal but not Amex and Diners Club. We now also accept Google Pay and Apple Pay. Order and credit card details are protected by TLS version 1.2, with 256 bit encryption. You may also pay by BACS or over the phone - please ring us on 01423 226448. Please note, we do not hold on to any financial details. If you are an Educational establishment, you may qualify for a credit account.

Under the Distance Selling Regulations (DSR's), if you are a private customer ("consumer"), and the goods have been in your possession for less than 14 days, then you are entitled to a full refund if you wish to change your mind. You must take reasonable care of the goods until they are returned to us ie you must not open shrink-wrapped or blister pack products or break any manufacturer's seals and all goods must be fully packaged as new. To return a product you must obtain a returns authorisation number, you can get this by sending an email to sales@thetonerplace.co.uk Please include the order number in the subject line and a description of why you want to return the item in the email. If you are a business customer ("trader"), we will do our very best to sort out any issue to your satisfaction but we cannot be held liable for any costs/loss of profits etc over and above the cost of the purchased product. We may exchange or refund only at our discretion.

Coverage:

The yield figures quoted are always an average, even for the genuine versions of the products. They are based on 5% coverage of an A4 page. Please be aware that 5% is very little coverage and when printing in black or colour, especially with graphics, photographs or filled areas, the average yield can be significantly less than that quoted.

Pricing:

If a mistake has been made with a price, or any other error, we reserve the right to refuse to supply the product at the price displayed. We would offer a refund if required.

Availability:

We display products in good faith based on suppliers daily or weekly feeds. Sometimes, however, we may display an item that is not available and as we cannot guarantee the availability of any product, we cannot be held responsible for errors. We therefore may have to refuse an order, even when paid in full.
